Northampton Community Freedge started from a simple belief: when one neighbour has more than they need, and another needs a little help, there should be a place where that exchange happens naturally — with warmth, dignity, and no paperwork.
We partner with local bakeries, grocers, and farms who would otherwise discard perfectly good food. We also welcome neighbours who want to share extras from their gardens or pantries. Everything on our shelves is free for anyone who walks through the door.
